Knowing the impacts that your organization has on a certain political district can be essential to your government relations and bid efforts. You can use OMX to identify both your current and future potential suppliers within a district, map them and estimate the economic impacts of contracts awarded within that district.
From the search filter screen, select either Canada or the United States from the country drop down menu.
You will notice that location filters will appear once you have selected your country. From the "US Congressional District by Name" or the "Canadian Political Riding by Name", you can search for the name of your targeted political district.
Once you have selected your desired political riding or congressional district, click 'Apply'.
If you'd like to narrow down the search results, you can filter by any search criteria in addition to your selected political district. For example, if you are looking for current suppliers in that district that have been tagged in OMX, you can filter by both the selected political district and your tag. After clicking 'Apply' you will see the list of suppliers that meet your search criteria. You can change your view of the list by selecting 'Map' or 'Visualizations' from the 'View' drop down. The graphics produced can be used in your marketing, government relations or bid efforts.
