OMX allows for full eligible party/ offset flow down tracking and reporting on each program that you initiate, giving prime contractors a secure, single place to manage all program and project (transaction) details related to an offset program.
When creating or editing a program, you can select from a list of existing OMX organizations, and assign them a portion of your offset obligation. The tools will allow you to add one, or multiple eligible parties to each program where you have offset obligations.
In the above example, the company 'OMX', which created and owns the program, has assigned 'International Systems' to be an eligible party and given them a portion of the overall obligation amount.
International Systems can now see a new program in their programs dashboard upon their next log in into OMX.
Upon clicking into the program, the eligible party, will only see the portion of the program obligations assigned to them. They will not see the amount that the prime is responsible for, or the amounts of any other eligible parties. Nor can the eligible party edit any aspect of the overall program. However, they are able to see where they stand in terms of their portion of the obligation.
The eligible party will also be able to start to add projects (Offset Transactions) to the program. These projects will be visible to both the eligible party and the prime contractor (the owner of the program), but not any other eligible party.
Conversely, the program owner, OMX, can view the all of the projects under the program including their own and any created by eligible parties. However, they are not able to edit projects created by eligible parties.
Projects created by eligible parties will be taken into account, along with your own projects, in the overall tracking of obligations on your program dashboard.
This gives you one, secure and easy to use, place to get real time updates into where you, and your entire team, stand with your offset obligations.
